It has been ages since I have seen a guava tree. We used to have one back home, but my parents decided to have it replaced with rambutan, since it wasn’t giving any decent fruit. It was usually just small and hard with lots of seeds. I prefer the guapple variety since it is bigger, juicier and has lower seed to skin ratio. I guess some people use this to prepare special dishes (like sinigang) or maybe make them into guava jelly (a fave when I was younger). :)
